Changing careers is always challenging. Even more so when the change has been forced upon you by circumstance, as is the case with service leavers who have been medically discharged.

Being told that you are no longer fit and able to carry on the career of your choosing can be tough, particularly as you have little or no experience of the civilian world of work coupled with some form of medical condition.

Soldier On! has developed a unique and individually tailored career management pathway to help medically discharged service leavers discover what motivates them, where their passions lie and how best to apply their talents, skills and experience within the civilian work environment.

Delivered by highly acclaimed occupational psychologist, David Royston-Lee, and Soldier On! Founder, Managing Director and career management expert Nicholas Harrison the Pathway provides the guidance and tools to empower the candidate to manage their own career going forward. Guiding each candidate individually through their specific employment journey, the pathway enables them to identify their authentic capabilities and unique needs together with the time to explore potential areas of employment first before committing to a job role that may not be suitable. Each service leaver supported by Soldier On! is always welcome to come back at any time in their future career the door is never closed.
